Part 1 begins with opening our web live on the server. Once opened, go to File, New, then click on Page or Web. Select and click on the Database Interface Wizard
On the next screen put a - Check mark, in the box that says "Add to Current Web" and then click OK. This will start the wizard.

 

We will now create a new database using the Database Interface Wizard.

Make sure there is a dot in the "Create a New Access database within your web."

Click - Next

 

For our example, we will change the name in the text box to - LinkList (No spaces)

Tip - When working with databases there are "reserved words" which should be avoided. We will cover these later but you can't use the word "database" when naming your database.

Click - Next.

On the next screen we will change the names of some of the preset fields. Highlight the address line by clicking on it. Then click - Modify
