Deleting Pages

There are several ways to delete pages from your web. Below are the three best ways to do it.

  1. Deleting pages from the Navigation View
  2. Deleting Pages from the Folder View
1. Delegating pages from the Navigation View
  1. Open your Navigation View.
  2. Right Click on the page you want to delete.
  3. In the dialogue box choose to delete it from the web or navigation.
  4. If you choose just navigation the page will be pulled from the navigation structure, but not deleted from the web.
  5. If you choose to delete it from the web, it will be deleted from the web, be careful though it will also delete any Child Pages attached to it in the navigation structure. So if you only want to remove that page, use the technique 1 above.
2. Deleting Pages from the Folder View
  1. Go to Folders View (click on the Folders icon in the Views bar or go to View / Folders).
  2. Select the file or folder you want to delete, then go to Edit / Delete (or right-click and select Delete)
  3. or Select multiple files (see below), then go to Edit / Delete (or right-click and select Delete).
3. Save time and delete several pages at once!

If you want to delete multiple files at once, go to Folders View (click on the Folders icon in the Views bar or go to View / Folders).  Select multiple files (see below), then go to Edit / Delete (or right-click and select Delete).

To select a block of files all at once, click on the first file, hold shift, and click on the last file.

To select multiple files that are not in a block, hold the Control key while you select the files.

You can also delete a particular section of pages by doing so in the Navigation View. If you delete a page with child level page below it it will remove all the pages attached to the page you are deleting.
